MRS. GILES RECTOR PASSES

Died At The Home of Mrs. A. J. Duckett, Sunday Evening - Laid to Rest Monday in The Round Prairie Cemetery - Was Ill About A Week - Is Survived by Ten Children - Late Husband Died in 1926.

Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Rector, 81 years old, widow of the late Giles Rector died, at the home of Mrs. A. J. Duckett, at 7 o'clock Sunday p.m. She had suffered something over a week from an acute dysentery. She was taken to the home of Mrs. Duckett, to be cared for, a few days before her death. The body was taken to the Konantz funeral home, where services conducted by Rev. Walter Arnold, were held at 2 o'clock, Monday afternoon, followed by interment, in Round Prairie Cemetery by the grave of her late husband who died five years ago, last September. Mrs. Rector's maiden name was Miss Sarah Elizabeth Howard. She was born in one of the North Missouri counties, August 2nd, 1851. She came to Barton County, when a child, and spent most of her life in the Round Prairie community, where she now sleeps. The deceased is survived by eight children. They are, Mr. Bee Rector of Meeker, Colorado, Dick Rector of Croweburg, Everett Rector of Grand View, Colorado; Henry Rector, who lives in the Canadian province, of Saskatchewan; Mrs. Frank Rader of Okmulgee, Mrs. Ethel Thornbrough, of Williamsburg, Kansas; Logan Rector, who lived with his mother and Mrs. Tommy Gully of Jasper.
